History
Lifestyle Brand Management Ltd was founded in 2007 as a fully owned subsidiary of the British company Time Medium Acquisitions Plc (TMA). TMA is a holding company that works with fully and partly owned subsidiaries in a variety of industry segments, whose main focus is on countries in emerging economies.
Among the portfolio companies of TMA is the subsidiary Sistech International Ltd. who offers turnkey-solutions regarding the complete delivery chain to their clients; product development, OEM-solutions, stock distribution and logistics. The company has trade offices, representatives and partners in the United Kingdom, Brazil, Russia, India and China.
Throughout the years, Sistech International has been offered licenses for a variety of products. In 2007 when the company was offered the opportunity to develop shoes and clothes under the brand name Goodyear, the TMA management decided to place these licenses in its own subsidiary (Lifestyle Brand Management Ltd.), in order to be able to exhibit the brand in the best way.
A private issue was performed during 2008 that brought Lifestyle Brand Management Ltd. approximately 200 new shareholders, among them many Swedish investors. Given the high proportion of Swedish shareholder, and an internationally recognized great knowledge in brand development in Sweden, TMA decided to list the share on a Swedish marketplace.
For the purpose a Swedish company, LBM Group AB (publ), was created and in May 2010 it made an offer to the approximately 200 shareholders in Lifestyle Brand Management Ltd. to change their shares for shares in the parent company. As of the publishing of this document, 90,6% of the shareholders in Lifestyle Brand Management Ltd. have accepted the offer. The offer is still open and the ambition of LBM is to reach 100% ownership.
